About us

Translation Agency GREG is closely specialised in the provision of high-quality translation services in different fields of written translation and interpretation. We have expert teams that work on legal, audit, accounting and technical translations, as well as such that assist in the legalisation of documents of any nature.

At present, Agency Greg EOOD employs over 120 translators into/from languages of different combinations, who have additional qualifications and work both in Sofia and in the country. Most of them are hired under civil contracts or subassignee agreements. All translators, we work with, are selected most carefully, after having passed at least two tests (a general and a specialised one in the respective field). Our office in Sofia, at 39, Vassil Levski Blvd., is furnished with the most contemporary equipment supplied by IBM and operates with fully licensed software of Microsoft, IBM, Adobe, ABBYY, SDLK, Trados and Corel. Thus, we have a sufficient capacity to accomplish each order assigned to us, by observing the highest quality standards and confidentiality. For all large-scale projects we work on, we usually combine a team to accomplish the particular project. These teams are formed of both translators and editors of the needed qualifications, and technical staff in charge of pre-print works, scanning, etc. In this way, we may guarantee the quality of the output product by observing all required norms of confidentiality.

Qualifications and Experience

In the course of our activities, we have had the pleasure of working with some of the biggest firms and organisations, both Bulgarian and foreign ones. Our work developed mainly in the following areas:

·         Translations from and into Bulgarian, and legalisation of all types of documents;

·         Law – legal texts of any kind, contracts, acts and deeds, normative and legal provisions and others (a specialised team to work on such translations);

·         Accounting – balance sheets and financial statements in general, declarations, reports on audits by state authorities and claims (a specialised team to work on such translations);

·         Audit – auditor’s reports, references, statements and recommendations (a specialised team to work on such translations);

·         Insurance – contracts, polices, pension contracts and other documents;

·         Tender documentation – compiling completely documentation for participating in tenders;

·         Technical translations – having worked on several huge projects covering the modernisation of the copper mining plant of Cumerio (Umicore Med) in Pirdop, we may say that we have worked on translations in almost all technical areas;

·         Ecology and environmental protection (as part of the technical translations);

·         Energetics and energy saving, ventilation (as part of the technical translations);

·         Internal combustion engines and service instructions for light and heavy-freight automobiles and trailers of special purpose and for special use (as part of the technical translations);
